Working on a series of 11 portraits for the upcoming exhibition 'Denk vooruit, kijk achteruit' from the Maag Lever Darm Stichting (MLDS), curated by Ben Krewinkel. The series is about ten people related to Jurgen who’s carrying Lynch Syndrome, a high risk of colon cancer.The project will be published in a catalogue with the participating photographers; Cynthia Boll, Ringel Goslinga, Geert van Kesteren, Dana Lixenberg, Bertien van Manen.
The MLDS is an independent dutch foundation that tries to prevent and cure stomach, testine and liver diseases and to improve quality of life of patients. The MLDS is a facilitator of scientific research and is an information center that can be approached by individuals in search of specific knowledge and/or advice.
