City People, a new book by photographer Ringel Goslinga shows the people of Amsterdam in the way that they are connected to eacht other. By taking pictures of his friends, family, neighbours, and people they share their lives with, he created a document of the city. It’s personal and divers, some faces are beautiful, some interesting, some old and some familiar, but never boring because you get to see lives. The girl who works in the comic bookstore he goes to, his cousin, the woman who lives down the street, the man that fixes his car. It all tells the story of a modern city that isn’t as big as it looks.
